I went to a hospital for a government health check.

An old man was having a conversation with a coordinator. The conversation was getting worse, and there was a little anger in it. It felt toxic to me, sitting nearby and waiting for the next coordinator to call my name.

I heard the news that our favorite cafe was closing permanently.

We went to the cafe on Saturday morning and said goodbye to the cafe owner.

We felt a sense of loss.
